Get into the Spirit (Animal)

Coming up over the March Break -- March 14, from 10 until noon, at the Dwight Community Centre, we're going to help you Create a Shield with your Spirit Animal.

Paint your Vision Animal on leather and frame or stretch it a twig structure.

We'll examine art by famous Native Artists and then YOU create your own "native" style.

All materials a supplied. Bring a smile and old clothes -- finding your Spirit Animal can be a wonderfully messy task.  Be prepared to go Outside to find your special twig or something to entwine.

Bring something to drink with you. And, since the space for this is limited to eight people, be sure to book your spot.

Diane Finlayson is our facilitator for this program.  More than Just Art...

Walk and Talk

Tired of slipping on the ice and snow?

Come inside to the Dwight Community Centre to walk in safety and comfort.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to noon.

Spring is almost here, and we'll be able to get walking outdoors again soon, but while you wait, get off the couch, and off the ice, and come walk a mile beside someone else's shoes.

CREATIVE CRAFT CIRCLE

All you crafty people...   Bring whatever craft you are working on and enjoy some great conversation and camaraderie as you create away.

We've got the space, and the company -- you bring the creative part.

We'll put on the coffee!  And the conversation.

THURSDAYS, 10 a.m. to noon.
